Youth Circus OT301 is an international, family-orientated social circus community. We offer the full experience of circus and its skills, to youth ranging from young children to teenagers and their families. We use social circus as a language to communicate and express ourselves fully.
In class, we focus on personal development and each person develops at their own pace. We also integrate skills together into a group setting for performances. We love to share time and space, coming together on our OT301 stage to experience the passion we have for our craft, alongside our professional circus teachers.
My 10 and 12 year old daughters have been attending arial classes with Monika for about 5 years now. They absoluty love their weekly classes and enjoy beeing with Monika and Pierre. They are amazing teachers who deeply care about all their students. I appreciate the hard work both of you put into this amazing project. Thanks for everything!
What can I say about this circus studio? Our daughter used to change sports every few months. Even if she was interested at the beginning, after a month or two she would become discouraged and want to quit. She didn’t feel that she was being seen for who she was. The trainers had a training plan and expected her to follow it exactly as they wanted.
But when she came to this studio, she finally found what she had been looking for. She is guided in her activities and development, while still having the space to be creative and express herself.
She often chooses to stay not just for one training session, but for a second one as well. Even when she is tired after school and has the option of skipping training, she chooses to go because this is her safe space — a place where her mind can rest while her body is working hard.
She has now been at this studio for two years, without even once thinking about quitting.
I am so happy that she has found such a special place in her life.
Monika encourages determination and perseverance, but also makes every lesson playful and fun. She has a wonderful way of teaching through play, making the children feel motivated, confident and excited to learn. A truly fantastic teacher!

Dearest Monika,
When Lily joined your studio 4 years ago, she was 4. She hardly spoke in public, was shy, lacked confidence, and wouldn’t leave my side for a second. I needed to be there with her, and I was very worried about Lily.
You, in your so unique way and attitude, slowly, slowly built trust with Lily and made her go beyond any belief, physically and mentally. Today Lily practices 3 times a week and performs in front of people, doing acrobatics in a way that, when I see her, I can cry.
Monika, you are not just a teacher, you are a life mentor and you are family. I will never, never, never forget it. A huge part of who Lily is today, and who she is going to be, is thanks to you.
You give me the strength to believe in Lily, like when all the rest didn’t. You and me always knew.

Talententent Dynamo & Youth Circus OT301 have a wonderful time working together. We make circus accesable for kids in Amsterdam Oost, specifically for kids and parents that need a bit extra support. It’s wonderful how Monika and the other teachers are so caring and involved in development of the kids. Kids are so happy to join the classes. We see kids moving forward and making progress. I would recommend the circus classes of Monika and teachers VERY MUCH!
Our daughters are super looking forward to the class every week. They even ask if they can stay longer. Monika is super lovely and caring, you can really see she has vocation for this and it is not just a job ❤️

I wanted to take a moment to thank you both for the work you do with my children. It is such a joy as a parent to see them head to every lesson with genuine excitement and big smiles. They even participate in the yearly public performance, which is a big success for a shy 6 year old.
Even within the same class, kids are developing in very different directions, under your personal attention — building different strengths and favorite skills, but also expressing in their own style: silks, hoop, juggling. It truly feels as though you know exactly which “buttons” to gently press to unlock each child’s interest, confidence, and hidden talents.
You don’t just teach aerial arts and circus skills — you nurture courage, discipline, creativity, and self-esteem. The progress we see is not only physical, but emotional as well: my kids feel safe, strong, happy, capable and inspired.
